Red Rock Corridor Plan

Minnehaha County's Comprehensive Plan is a document that establishes guidelines for the future growth of the community. It presents a vision of what a community is to be in the future. The Minnehaha County Planning Department is creating the Red Rock Corridor Plan, which will be an addition to the Comprehensive Plan. The corridor plan will focus on the land use and development standards within the corridor.

The process of developing the corridor plan will be a community-wide effort. Residents, businesspersons, and other interested groups will have a part in determining what the new vision will be. The corridor plan will include goals and objectives as well as specific recommendations that address land use and development standards for the corridor. When complete, it will help guide decisions that will impact the future of the community as does the Comprehensive Plan.
