Pioneer Day Camp Returns in June
Who knew homesteading could be this fun? The Siouxland Heritage Museums and South Dakota Game, Fish, and Parks are hosting their annual Pioneer Day Camp on Tuesdays in June. Kids can experience life as a frontier child in Dakota Territory. Its outdoor, educational, and an all-around great time!
Pioneer Day Camp is a full day of fun at Beaver Creek Nature Area with outdoor activities that include fishing, games, candle dipping, making ice cream, and much more! The camp is for kids 7 to 12 years old, $25 includes registration, meal, and a snack. Space is limited so call 605-367-4210 to register!
you would like to learn the proper storage and handling procedures for your family’s heirlooms and treasures, come to the preservation program on Thursday, December 15th at 6 p.m. Preserving Your Family Treasures will introduce the seven agents of deterioration and the considerations that should be made while storing objects.
