Collection Goes Online with Past Perfect
The Artifact of the Month for March is actually a collection of over 5,000 artifacts! The Collections Department has just recently placed part of its collections database online. Over 5,000 artifact catalogs are now available for viewing on our new online database through Past Perfect Museum Software. Researchers are now able to look up what types of objects, photos, or archival materials the Siouxland Heritage Museums has in the collection based on a keyword, subject, or an individual name without leaving the comfort of their homes. The collection database can currently be viewed on the following website - http://siouxland.pastperfect-online.com and will soon be linked through the Collection’s Department page on www.siouxlandmuseums.com. If you are unable to find what you are looking for, please check back periodically as we are continuing to put more of our collections records online.
