Become a part of your museum by determining what will be in the next exhibit at the Old Courthouse Museum. The “Meaningful Places” contest is open to all ages. We are looking for photographs and videos of a place that matters to you. Show us the character of the place through the image and your story that accompanies it. Take a photograph and capture a feeling. Create a video and share your images and ideas. Be creative, be modern, and be exciting!

History is in the eye of the beholder. Some people may see only an old building or an empty field, while others may remember a favorite candy store or their first job or that picnic spot where they used to take their sweetheart. Why is a place memorable? Why should it be preserved? Are we on the verge of losing something important to our community? Did something momentous occur here or nothing at all? Are you proud of the work that has been done to save and restore something special to you? The museum wants to preserve and showcase these stories!

Share your story and have a chance to be selected for this upcoming exhibit.
