Mother Goose rhymes are a part of many young children’s introduction to literature. They soothe, entertain and inspire imagination. Yet, who was Mother Goose? From where did she come? How has her tradition spanned so many generations? How do her rhymes pave the way for how a child learns to read? What has Mother Goose known for years that reading experts may now better understand? These questions will be explored in this entertaining presentation.
